Well, you are definitely not going to get rich. After 42 attempted surveys and 19 accepted surveys, I managed to make about $9 in 5 hours. That comes out to about $1.80 an hour. Opinion Outpost pays its surveyors with points with a conversion rate of 1 point per $0.10. So 100 points would be equal to $10. You also need at least $10 in your account to make a withdrawal in cash with PayPal but you turn your points into a prepaid Amazon gift card with only 500 points. Gift cards can be either physical or digital. Personally, digital cards are much more efficient and streamlined, so I always opt for those.

A rate of $1.80 is not a lot at all but keep in mind how little effort you are putting in. Very rarely does a survey make you actually have to concentrate and the majority of them could be done throughout the day or when you are at lunch break on your day job. So while you won’t be raking in the big bucks, you can make a little bit of spending cash.
